Tweet Session

11 Aug

Okay, I had no interest in Twitter until Kit told me to check it out. And now I love it and am getting a little too hooked on it. As he will tell you, I love “blanket statements,” which is really all Twitter is about. Summing up what you think in 140 characters or less.

However, I think it’s a little ridiculous when people tweet like 150 times a day. I want to hear 1 or 2 good things from you every day that are worth reading. I always have a million things to write, but I don’t because I don’t want to be the lame girl updating her Twitter every 5 minutes. The problem is, then all of those thoughts get lost. So this blog post is dedicated to the millions of tweets I have wanted to send and haven’t.

– I realized the other day that my shoes say a lot about me: Chaco, Simple, Nine West, J.Crew, Payless. A bargain shopping hippie that loves a good pair of heels.

– It must suck to be a baby, because as soon as you find something fun to chew/climb on, someone comes and picks you up and moves you or takes it away.

– Absence does make the heart grow fonder, but it also makes the heart grumpy and lonesome.

– My life goal is to be the cute girl on stage who can sing and play a tambourine at the same time. It is not in the cards for me. It’s like when my mouth is moving, my arms stop being part of my body.

– There’s nothing better than using a new toothbrush for the first time. Absolutely nothing.

-There’s no classy way to get a Chinese symbol tattoo. Unless you’re actually Chinese. Maybe.

– It’s rude to make up ridiculous spellings of names to “set your child apart.” Choose an interesting name, maybe, but don’t just butcher the spelling of a normal name. Examples: Bethenney, Mckynzie, Jinger. (Yes, I watch too much Bravo/TLC).

These are just the thoughts off the top of my head. More later, perhaps.
